About Ardena

Originally from Kosovo, Ardena’s life took her to the US in 1999 due to war. In 2012, she relocated to Norway, where her passion for West Coast Swing blossomed. Dance became more than just a hobby for Ardena; it became a tool for self-discovery and healing.

Despite initially pursuing a career in International Development, Ardena followed her passion for movement and founded Argo Dance & Fitness in 2012. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology & leadership development, and a master’s degree in International Development, which complement her dedication to dance and well-being.

Ardena’s impact extends beyond just dancing. She played a significant role in nurturing the West Coast Swing community in Norway by establishing the popular Winter White WCS in 2012. This annual international WSDC event in Oslo attracts dancers from over 25 countries worldwide.

In addition to her dance expertise, Ardena is also a qualified yoga instructor in Ashtanga, a certified breathwork coach, and a fitness trainer accredited by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

What truly sets Ardena apart is her empathetic nature. She understands the prevalent issues of ego and self-worth within the dance community and strives to inspire others to stay grounded, know themselves, and gain confidence through dancing. Her focus is on personal growth and authenticity rather than titles and awards.

Ardena’s journey not only showcases her mastery in movement but also her commitment to building a healthier and more empathetic dance community. Her mission extends beyond teaching dance steps; it’s about creating a positive and supportive environment where individuals become skilled dancers while also growing as connected, confident, and authentic individuals.
