About Ardena
Originally from Kosovo, Ardena’s life took her to the US in 1999 due to war. In 2012, she relocated to Norway, where her passion for West Coast Swing blossomed what was once ballroom and salsa. Dance became more than just a hobby for Ardena; it became a tool for self-discovery and healing.
Despite initially pursuing a career in International Development, Ardena followed her passion for movement and founded Argo Dance & Fitness in 2012. She holds bachelor’s degree in psychology & leadership development, and a master’s degree in International Development. In the end she followed a career in dance as it was her passion despite years of academia.
Ardena’s impact extends beyond just dancing. She played a significant role in nurturing the West Coast Swing community in Norway by establishing the popular Winter White WCS in 2012. This annual international WSDC event in Oslo attracts dancers from over 25 countries worldwide.
In addition to her dance expertise, Ardena is also a qualified yoga instructor in Ashtanga, a certified breathwork coach, and a fitness trainer accredited by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
